The Sewing Corner is equipped with both a sewing machine and a serger for use during your reserved time. 

Reservation Information 

Check the schedule when making reservations for a breakdown of frequency and length of reservations available per library card. 

 

Cost 

There is no cost to use the Sewing Corner equipment. White thread and bobbins are supplied free of charge. The Lab also provides basic tools such as fabric scissors, cutting mats, and rotary cutters. Please bring your own materials for any sewing project you plan to complete in the Lab. 

 

Learning to Sew 

Staff do not provide one-on-one sewing instructions. However, the library occasionally offers programs which can be found on the library's events calendar. Those that prefer to learn independently or cannot attend in-person classes, should try the Universal Class online for free with a library card.
