The Fiber Arts center is equipped with a variety of equipment and materials for project creation.
The Lab has:
- 9 Janome Magnolia 7730 Sewing Machines
- 1 Brother SB7900E Embroidery Machine
- 1 Brother 5423 PRW Serger
- 5 Brother ScanNcut SDX225
- Cutting tables
- Heat Press
- Sewing Patterns
- Rotary Cutters
Sewing machines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis or may be reserved up to 2 hours at a time, 4 hours per week.
But I don't know how to use a sewing machine!
No problem! The library offers occasional classes for people who want to learn. Find classes in the library catalog of events. If you like to learn on your own or can't make it to an in-person class, try Universal Class online for free with your library card.
How much does it cost to use the Fiber Arts Stations?
Use of the fiber arts equipment is free. The Lab provides basic materials and supplies for instruction, but you must bring your own materials for any fiber arts project you wish to complete in the Lab.
