Tax Forms

Olathe Downtown Library and Olathe Indian Creek Library have a limited selection of printed forms for Tax Season. However, we can always help you print out the Tax Forms you need.

AARP Free Tax Assistance at the Olathe Indian Creek Library

Every year between February and April, OPL partners with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program, which provides free tax assistance and preparation for taxpayers with middle and lower income. You do not need to be a member of AARP or a retiree to use this service. Kansas Tax-Aide volunteers, trained in cooperation with the IRS, will offer this service on a first come, first served basis at the Olathe Indian Creek Library and other locations throughout the county. Appointments are required. No walk-ins accepted.

The soonest customers can begin scheduling appointments is Monday, January 19th, 2026. This date is subject to change. (No walk-ins, appointments only)

PLEASE NOTE: The Olathe Public Library will be CLOSED Monday, January 19th. You can call AARP to make your appointment at 913-735-5489.

*Tax prep may be cancelled if the Olathe School District closes for inclement weather.

The Kansas Tax-Aide site has more information, including documents and additional information needed at your appointment.
