A Taste of Literacy

The Olathe Public Library Foundation holds an author dinner fundraiser each fall. This year’s featured author is Taylor Kay Phillips. Taylor is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning writer and comedian. She is a staff writer for Last Week Tonight with John Oliver on HBO and author of the humor book, A Guide to Midwestern Conversation. Taylor will be speaking about the inherent (and beautiful!) humor of libraries.

The event will take place on Saturday, September 26, at 6 pm. Tickets are $75 and include dinner catered by the Olathe Public Schools Culinary Arts Academy. Funds raised from this event provide grants for new equipment and programs for the Olathe Public Library.

Individual tickets are $75. Purchase tickets and sponsorships.
