Ready? Set. Write!
Each November, NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) brings writers of all ages together to accomplish the mammoth task of writing a 50,000-word novel in just a month’s time!
Get ready to write in the library's four-part Novel Prep series. We’ll cover topics like writing memorable characters, outlining major plot events, genre and style, audience, mechanics of prose, dialogue and project management.

Sun., Nov. 4, Nov. 11, Nov. 18, Nov. 25 from 2 pm to 4:30 pm – Indian Creek
For National Novel Writing Month, local author Whitney Horn will lead a four-part writing workshop. We’ll focus on story construction (plot, character development, theme) and writing techniques (figurative language, dialogue). Bring your work, if you’d like. All writing levels welcome.
