August is Read a Romance month!

Romance heart

To celebrate, you're invited to take part in a Read a Romance Month reading challenge. This is a just-for-fun challenge, but you might surprise yourself with the discovery of a new author or genre! After you read, join us for "The Final Rose", a chance to talk romance books.

The Challenge:  Read two titles from two different romance sub-genres:

Some suggested subgenres are:

     Christian romances  Fantasy romances
     Multicultural romances  Men in Kilts
     Romantic suspense  Cowboy romance
Love in a Small Town  Paranormal romances
     Regency Rogues  Victorian Days
     Royal romances  LGBTQIA romances
     Classic romances  Holiday romances

“The Final Rose” - August 30 - 7 - 8:30pm at the Downtown library

Help us celebrate the world of romance novels with a chance to talk romance books with other readers and partake in a chocolate fest!
