Live Homework Help

Live Homework help connects 4th through 12th grade students with real, live tutors online. Receive help in math, science, social studies or English. The online tutors may be accessed on library and home computers.

Help is available daily from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m.

How to get connected with a tutor

  1. Click on the icon above or the Live Homework Help link next to the icon.
  2. Enter your library card and PIN.
  3. Select your language. Choose your grade level. Enter the subject (math, science, social studies, or English). Click "Go" to enter the classroom and be connected to a tutor.

Have your question ready. The tutors will not simply give you the answer. They will use a variety of online tools, such as chat, an interactive white board, and Web browsing software to help you find the answer to your question.

  • Windows 95 OSR2 or better
  • Netscape 4.08 - 4.75 (not version 6) Students Only!
  • Internet Explorer 4.01 SP2 or better
