April 23, 2010
The Friends of the Olathe Public Library hosted its annual soup supper on April 23 at the Indian Creek Community Church. Around 50 people enjoyed soup, salad and dessert, followed by Dr. Bill Worley, who portrayed Dr. James Naismith, inventor of basketball.
At the conclusion of the event, Sharon Markey, Friends vice-president, conducted a trivia contest and awarded prizes.
