Storytime Schedule      
January 27 - April 23

 

The Olathe Public Library offers storytime sessions for preschoolers, 3 - 5 years of age, at both the Main Library and at the Indian Creek Branch.  Fall storytimes will begin on January 27 and run through April 23.  Registration begins on Tuesday, January 6.  Children may be registered in person at either library or by telephone at (913) 971-6874.  Please note that enrollment in each of the sessions will be limited.  Registration will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.  Storytimes for 3 year olds last about 20-25 minutes, and storytimes for 4 and 5 year olds last about 35-40 minutes.  Evening storytimes last about 30 minutes.  An interpreter for the deaf will be provided with two weeks advanced notice.  Call (913) 971-6874 to make arrangements.

We also offer special storytime sessions for daycare groups.  Daycares should call (913) 971-6874 for more information.

4 & 5 Year Olds Only
(Birthday between Sept. 1, 2002 - Jan. 29, 2005)

Thursdays at 9:15 a.m.


4 & 5 Year Olds Only
(Birthday between Sept. 1, 2002 - Jan. 29, 2005)

Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m.
Wednesdays at 2:00 p.m.


Family Storytime
All ages are welcome at this storytime, but the stories will be geared to 3, 4 & 5 year olds.  No registration is required for the Tuesday evening sessions.

Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
 

The library also offers a fall storytime session which begins in late September and Storytime in the Park during the summer.  For the latest storytime schedule and information, you can call or come into the library, watch the local newspaper, or visit us here at our web site.
