Storytime in the Park

Evening Storytime at the Library



During the summer the Olathe Public Library offers Storytime in the Park in two city parks:  Frontier Park on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and Mill Creek Park on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.  Bring a blanket and enjoy 30 minutes of stories, songs and fingerplays.  The stories will be geared to 3 - 5 year olds, but everyone is welcome.  No registration required.  In case of rain, the storyime will be cancelled.

Frontier Park is located at Black Bob Rd. & Indian Creek Pkwy.  Mill Creek Park is located at Woodland & Poplar.

PLEASE NOTE:  There will be no storytimes on July 4th.

The library will also offer an Evening Family Storytime on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Downtown Library. The stories will be geared to 3 - 5 year olds, but the whole family is welcome. Evening storytimes last about 30 minutes. No registration is required. Evening storytimes will feature the same books used at Storytime in the Park.

PLEASE NOTE:  There will be no storytimes on July 4th.
