Storytime in the Park

Evening Storytime at the Library



During the summer the Olathe Public Library offers Storytime in the Park in two city parks:  Frontier Park on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and Mill Creek Park on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m.  Bring a blanket and enjoy 30 minutes of stories, songs and fingerplays.  The stories will be geared to 3 - 5 year olds, but everyone is welcome.  No registration required.  In case of rain, the storyime will be cancelled.

Frontier Park is located at Black Bob Rd. & Indian Creek Pkwy.  Mill Creek Park is located at Woodland & Poplar.

The library will also offer an Evening Family Storytime on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Downtown Library. The stories will be geared to 3 - 5 year olds, but the whole family is welcome. Evening storytimes last about 30 minutes. No registration is required. NOTE:  Evening storytimes will feature the same books used at Storytime in the Park.

Summer storytimes will run from June 7 through July 28.  Below is the schedule for our SUMMER 2016 STORYTIMES:
