On My Own Storytime & Family Storytime

The Olathe Public Library offers On My Own Storytime at both the Downtown Library and Indian Creek Library.  These storytimes are for preschoolers ages 3 - 5 who can attend storytime by themselves.  Fall storytimes will begin on September 13 and run through November 17.  See times and locations below.  Tickets will be handed out 15 minutes before each program begins.  Storytimes will last about 30 minutes.  Children will be expected to attend by themselves.

The library also offers an Evening Family Storytime on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. at the Indian Creek Library. The stories will be geared to 3 - 5 year olds, but all are welcome.  Storytimes will last about 30 minutes.  
NOTE: Evening storytimes will feature the same books used in the On My Own daytime sessions.

The library also offers weekly storytime for daycare groups at the Downtown Library.  If you are bringing more than four children to storytime, please call the library at (913) 971-6874 to find out more about our special daycare storytimes.

NOTE:  All Indian Creek storytimes will be held at the new temporary location at 13511 S. Mur-Len Rd.

but the stories will be geared to 3 - 5 year olds.
