August 18 - OPL's Teen Library Club (TLC)
5:30-7:00 pm - Main
TLC is always looking for new members, and what better time to join than in the summer! Teen Library Club (TLC) is an opportunity for teens to volunteer to assist and support library services for young adults.  Members plan and promote exciting programs, participate in special community service projects, attend special outings, assist with teen page and blog and discuss books, music movies and web sites!  An interest in serving others in the community and in participating in the meetings regularly is helpful.  Potential TLC members fill out a simple registration form at their first meeting.  Membership looks good on resumes and college applications.  TLC members also receive volunteer hours.  Refreshments are served at every meeting.
